Happily Ever After in Christmas book review

A female sheriff and an ex-hockey player meet in a bar.No, that’s not the beginning of a stand-up comedy routine. It’s the plot and setting for Debbie Mason’s latest love story in the town of Christmas.

Jill has had a crush on Sawyer her whole life. but he still sees her as the younger sister of his best friend. That is, until she gets makeover help from the Hollywood hair stylist introduced in an earlier book who has taken up residence. Yep, a red dress and very high heels will do the trick every time.

Mason also lets us in on what various other characters from previous books are up to-who is getting married; who is having a baby. Even having read about them before, I sometimes had trouble keeping straight who was who. Of course, that’s pretty much what happens in real life, isn’t it? Sorting through gossip is a full time occupation.

Since I too live in a small town where everyone knows each other’s business and posts about it on Facebook, I completely identify with the citizens of Christmas. I hope there are lots more love stories for Mason to tell.

Happily Ever After in Christmas will release June 28. Preorders are available now.

Debbie will be awarding a prize via Rafflecopter.
