Luring the seaman from the sea

When is a lord not a lord? According to Lorraine Heath’s Lord of Temptation, it’s when he’s a pirate. Intrepid heroine Anne talks her way onto his ship to gain closure to a previous romance. The confines of that ship bring the two together physically and emotionally. When Crimson Jack, aka Lord Tristan, realizes that Anne’s fiancee is dead and her voyage has been to say a final goodbye, the sparks ignite. Tristan tries his best to stay his course as an adventurer with no ties, but, of course, fails. Even the maid gets a happily ever after in this tale.
