Looking in a Mirror

Is it true that the flaw that annoys us about someone else is the very same flaw that we ourselves possess?

I recently overheard a conversation in which two people were exclaiming about how much a third party talked. All the time. Non-stop.

One of the complainers talks at length about her medical problems and her pets. The other one’s conversational style is to pontificate at considerable decibels about whatever topic is at hand. Huh?

Maybe I’m just old and cranky– no, undoubtedly Iam– but really, a little self-knowledge would come in handy.
